Town offices closing to the public Monday, December 14

As of Monday, December 14th, the town office building will be locked due to the increase of Covid-19 cases in our area. We would rather be open especially during the holidays and we will miss the human interaction and smiling faces we always enjoy. We would rather see everybody safe though as that is most important to us.

If you need to renew a vehicle or pay your tax bill, you can do that on line at (https://www.wentworth-nh.org/) or through the mail (PO Box 2, Town Clerk/Tax Collector, Wentworth) Please include your phone number with all mail in or dropped off requests, in case we have questions.

If you need a birth certificate, death certificate, marriage license or marriage certificate, dog license, or if you would like to register a new car, transfer plates, etc…, please call us (764-5244) for an appointment or instructions on how we can process your request.

If you need the Select Boards office or Assessing, please call Linda at 764-9955.

We will be in the office during our normal business hours and you will have to knock on the door for service if you come before calling. We are planning on installing a mail slot on the front door to help make things easier for everyone. Your requests will be dropped into a secure locked box inside the building. For now, we have a mail box right outside the door in the parking lot that you can use. We check it often and we will process your requests just as quick as we normally do.

Also, you can call us at any time during office hours and we will be glad to explain exactly what you can do if you are not sure.
