Help Wanted: Administrative Assistant to the Select Board

The Town of Wentworth is seeking an Administrative Assistant to the three-member Select Board.  This position supports the Select Board with the administrative requirements of the Town and has a broad range of responsibilities and duties.  The ideal candidate is reliable and organized, demonstrates strong communication skills, both written and oral, works well with the public and has municipal and accounting experience.  This is a full-time, 32 to 40-hour, position with competitive wage, paid time off and health benefits.  Please submit a letter of interest and resume to:  townofwentworth@wentworth-nh.org or mail to Select Board, Town of Wentworth, P.O. Supervisors of the Checklist in Session May 31, 2022

The Supervisors of the Checklist for the Town of Wentworth will be in session, May 31, 2022 at 7PM at the Town Office. The purpose of the meeting is to update and make corrections to the checklist and to register new voters for the State Primary Election held on September 13, 2022.


May 31, 2022 IS THE LAST DAY TO CHANGE PARTY AFFILIATION BEFORE THE STATE PRIMARY ELECTION

2022 National Grid Herbicide Spraying Notice

National Grid will be spraying herbicides on rights-of-way from June 15 through October 15.

Please see the attached notification for additional information.

From the notice: "Landowners or residents should make the application contractor aware of the location of a potentially affected water supply, and of any other sensitive area where herbicide application should be further restricted.  The planned work will be performed by Lewis Tree Service.  The contact person at Lewis Tree Service is Greyson Barr and can be reached from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM at 585-358-8477."

Incorrect Conservation Commission Meeting Time Corrected
