The Wentworth Planning Board is proposing changes to the Wentworth Planning Board Regulations and seeks public comment at the WPB regular meeting at 6:45 PM in the Wentworth Town Offices Select Board meeting room on 2 December 2019.
These changes address Accessory Dwelling Units implementation as well
as further definition of Lot Line Adjustment minimum size of lots.
Mapping and Planning Solutions is conducting a series of meetings with Jeff Ames, the Wentworth Fire Chief and Emergency Management Director, over the next few months to update the 2015 Wentworth Hazard Mitigation Plan.
From the attached press release, "Through this series of public meetings, the Team will address issues such as flooding, hurricanes, drought, landslides and wildfires, and determine efforts the Town can undertake to mitigate the effects of both natural and human-caused hazards. The Team will also examine potential shelter sites and the need for generators at those sites."
The general public is encouraged to attend all meetings. These meetings will be held at the town offices on these dates:
The Supervisors of the Checklist for the Town of Wentworth will be
in session, Friday October 25th 2019 between the hours of 7 PM and
7:30PM at the Wentworth Town Offices. The purpose of the meeting is to
update and make corrections to the checklist and to register new
voters. This is also the last time to change Party affiliations before the Presidential Primary in 2020.
