The last Wentworth Open Air Market is this Saturday, September 3!

Join us for the Community yard sale (vendors are still needed!), 603 Eats food truck, 50/50 raffle, WES bake sale, and the last day to purchase raffle tickets for our ongoing raffles.

Supervisors of the Checklist in Session September 6

 

The Supervisors of the Checklist for the Town of Wentworth will be in session, September 6, 2022 at 5PM at the Wentworth Town Office. The purpose of the meeting is to update and make corrections to the checklist and to register new voters for the State Primary Elections held on September 13, 2022.  You may also register to vote at the Town Clerk’s Office during their business hours.

Town of Wentworth Highway Department

The Town of Wentworth, NH is seeking candidates for a full-time, year-round position with mandatory hours being early mornings, nights and weekends in the winter as required by the Road Agent. The position will be a highway maintenance/construction worker. Preferred candidates will have a CDL B driver’s license or the ability to obtain one within 6 months. The candidate also must have experience operating equipment such as backhoe, road grader, plow truck, etc. Experience with equipment maintenance and repair is a plus. The position will also require manual labor and must be able to lift up to 70 lbs. All candidates must pass a criminal background check as well as a drug and alcohol screening prior to employment.
