2018 National Grid Herbicide Spraying Notice

National Grid will be spraying herbicides on rights-of-way during the months of July through October 15.

The Webster Memorial Library's June and July Book Club meetings are cancelled due to the floor refinishing work.

Supervisors of the Checklist Meeting June 5

The Supervisors of the Checklist for the Town of  Wentworth will be in session on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 between the hours of 7:00 pm and 7:30 pm at the Wentworth town offices.  The purpose of the meeting is to make corrections to the checklist and to register new voters.  Last day for voters already registered, to change or declare a party affiliation.  Only undeclared voters may declare a party and vote on primary election day.

Webster Memorial Library June Book Club Cancelled

The Webster Memorial Library's June Book Club meeting on June 11 is cancelled due to the floor refinishing work.

Property Inventories (PA28)

A friendly reminder:   

The Selectmen's Office has not received many (approx. 200) of the completed 2018 Inventory of Taxable Property forms as required by RSA 74:7a, which were due no later that April 15th. 

On behalf of the Select Board,  we are asking that you please send in your forms or stop by the office for another copy. Let's keep the costly postage fees to a minimum, by returning your forms today. 

You can find instructions to assist you in filling out this form, on the back side.  Please insure that all 7 steps are completed. (If no one lives at the property, please indicate so by "0" or "none" on step 5).  Also, be sure that both property owners (if applicable) sign Step 7.

Beginning the first week of June, letters will be sent out with a new Inventory form attached, for your convenience.  This will be the Second Notice.  The completion of that mailing must be received by our office, no later than July 12th, 2018, to prevent being penalized, by which will be reflected on your second tax bill.

Webster Memorial Library Closure

Webster Memorial Library

will be having an extended closure from

May 28^TH – June 13^TH or 16^TH

due to having the floors refinished.

All items borrowed will reflect this closure. 

Normal borrowing periods will resume upon reopening.

East Side Cemetery Association Meeting June 6

The East Side Cemetery Association will be meeting on Saturday, June 9th from 2:00 - 4:00 pm at the Town Offices per Stephen Davis.

May 15th Selectmen's Meeting Cancelled

There will be NO Selectmen's Meeting held this Tuesday, May 15th.  We are sorry for any inconvenience this might cause. Thank you.

Veterans Memorial Meeting June 6

There will be a meeting held at the Wentworth Elementary School on Wednesday, June 6th at 7:00 pm to discuss the Veterans Memorial on the town common.  All are welcome.

May 24th Conservation Commission Meeting

The Conservation Commission will meet Thursday, May 24th at the town offices at 6:00 pm. 

Future meetings will be held on the 4th Thursday of every month at 6:00 pm.  All are welcome!

May 14: Trustees of the Trust Funds Meeting

The Trustees of the Trust Funds will meet tonight (5/14/2018) at the town offices at 5:00 pm.

May 14th Planning Board Meeting

The Planning Board will meet tonight at 6:30 pm at the town offices.
