PUBLIC NOTICE FOR SEALED BIDS
TOWN OF WENTWORTH, NEW HAMPSHIRE
The Town of Wentworth will sell by Quitclaim Deed, the following real estate by sealed bid:
Town Tax Map 11 Lot 4-16 consisting of 4.9 acres of unimproved riverfront land located on Mount Moosilauke Highway.
The Town acquired title to the above real estate by Tax Collector’s Deed, that is recorded in the Grafton County Registry of Deeds at Book 4054, Page 0824.
The minimum amount for which this property is to be sold shall be $24,000.00.
Bids will be received for the real estate up until 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 19, 2021. Bids submitted after that time will not be accepted. The bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at the Select Board meeting on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at 5:00 p.m. The Town of Wentworth reserves the right to reject any and all bids. The successful bidder will be required to pay ten (10) percent of the purchase price to the Town as a down payment and to sign a purchase and sale agreement at the time of the announcement of the successful bid. A closing, with the balance due, will occur within thirty (30) days.
